Day3: Chengdu- - Ya'an 2-star hotel
Drive 170dm through fertile farmlands. Visiting a marble factory Ya' an local fish banquet to welcome the groups.

Day4 : Ya'an - - Dartsedo 1-star hotel
Drive 230km into hill country, cross Erlang Mountain to the old caravanserai of Dartsedo on the Gyarong Ngulchu River.

Day5: Dartsedo - -Dawu Hostel
240km. visiting Ngachu monastery, marketplace, hot springs in Dartsedo. After lunch head north to Dawu vai pel Lhagon monastery.

Day6: Dawu - - Kanze county Hostel
Drive 158km, along the Shechu valley, past the peak of Khawalungr, and over high nomadic pasture to Kanze monastery.

Day7: Kanze - -Manigango
94km. Drive along the Yalung River to Beri and the pastureland around the stratrtegic town of Manigango. Visiting Yazer monastery.

Day8: Drive to Yilhun Lhatso Camping
20km. Trekking around Yilhun Lhatso. Lunch and supper picnics.

Day9: Lhatso - - Dege Hostel
Drive 90km, Passover Trho -La pass (4916m), and through alpine gorges toKhorlomdo Sakya Temple and Dege town.

Day10: Dege
Cultural center of Kham, the Gonchen monastery, the historic printing press, wander in the old town.

Day11: Dege- Dzokchen Camping
Drive 110km, through the vast nomadic high pasture. Visiting Dzokchen monastery, the prominent branch of the Nyingma school.

Day12: Dzokchen - - Sershul Hostel
Visiting the monasteries of Tsatsagon and Jumang.

Day13: Sershul - - Jeykundo Hostel
Visiting the market, 7th century Bi Nampar Tonze temple, and the blue colored Sakya monastery.

Day14: Jey Kundo
Explore more of the town: the busy markets and the famous temples.

Day15 : Jey Kundo--Riwoche Hostel

Visiting beautiful meadows around Riwoche. Short Journey to TaklungKaggu Temple.

Day16: Riwoche--Chamdo 1-star hotel
Chamdo is eastern gate way to central Tibet. Explore the 15th century monastery.

Visiting the Holy city's greatest sites: Jokhang temple, Potala, and Norbulinka palaces, the Gelukpa monasteries of Sera and Drepung, theBarkor market. Visiting the Art school, the hospital of traditional medicine, and Lhasa's interesting leather factory.
